Every week, Riad Ambre & Epices, in the Marrakech medina, hosts an evening of live Gnawa music around a full Moroccan dinner.
Gnawa music blends Moroccan and West African rhythms, poetry and spiritual chants. Carried by the guembri and metal castanets (krakeb), it is a living tradition, closer to a celebration than a show: you listen, share the meal, and the group's energy fills the riad's courtyard.
An intimate alternative to the big fantasia-style dinner shows, to experience Gnawa music up close.
Good to know: dinner is included; transport is not (the riad is in the medina, reach it on foot or by taxi to the nearest entrance). As the activity is new on Viator, it still has few reviews.
