About this site

The main access to the historic medina, Bab Boujloud is decorated with blue tilework on the outer side and green on the medina side — blue being the color traditionally associated with the city of Fès. Built in the early 20th century in Merinid architectural style, this monumental gate has become one of the city's most recognizable visual symbols.
