Built in the 17th century under the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl, the Kasbah Bel-Kouch overlooks Beni Mellal and offers a panoramic view over the city and the Tadla plain. Distinct from the historic core of the medina, it is one of the region's main testimonies to Alaouite military architecture.
