Built in the early 20th century by Moulay Ahmed er Raissouli, a tribal chief and brigand who became regional governor under the sultan, this palace overlooking the ocean reflects the colorful personality of its patron — whose kidnappings of foreign dignitaries made international headlines at the time. Now restored, it hosts exhibitions during Asilah's cultural festival.
