Located at the end of Asilah's seafront, right in front of the Sea Gate and facing the Portuguese ramparts, Place Ibn Khaldoun is an essential crossing point between the Atlantic Ocean and the fortified medina. Its modern sculpture of a tuna leaping from the water, along with the horse-drawn carriages that park there, make it a popular meeting place for both locals and visitors passing through.
