Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech

Inaugurated on 19 October 2017, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech stands next to Majorelle Garden, which the couturier and Pierre Bergé saved in 1980. The building, designed by the architecture studio KO, covers 4,000 m². Its façade of locally made terracotta bricks recalls weaving; concrete and granito complete a sober, contemporary ensemble.

One room is devoted to the work of Yves Saint Laurent and another to Jacques Majorelle; other rooms host temporary exhibitions. The museum also has a 150-seat auditorium, a research library of about 5,000 volumes, a bookshop and a café with a terrace, Le Studio.

The museum is open every day except Wednesday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (last entry 5:30 pm). A ticket costs 140 DH for foreign visitors on 17 October 2026; a combined ticket with Majorelle Garden and the Berber Museum is available. Allow about one hour for the visit, and combine it with the neighbouring garden for a half-day in Guéliz.
