- From Ben Youssef Madrasa: exit to the south — you're in the souks within 5 min
- The souks are in the heart of the medina: accessible on foot from everywhere

Generally: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Variations:
- Friday morning: some craftsmen close for Friday prayer (11am–1pm)
- Sunday: a few shops closed, reduced activity
- Full activity: Monday–Thursday, 10am–6pm
Prices
Entirely free access — the souks are a public space.
How to find your way
The maze of souks is difficult to navigate without landmarks. Tips:
- Download Maps.me (offline) before entering — Google Maps works poorly in the covered alleys
- The main arteries always lead toward Jemaa el-Fna or Bab Doukkala
- Landmark: the spice souk is halfway between Jemaa el-Fna and the Madrasa
