About this site

Founded in the 14th century and rebuilt under the Saadians, the Ben Youssef Madrasa could house up to 900 students of Islamic theology. Its finely carved stuccos, multicoloured zelliges and central marble basin make it one of the finest examples of Merinid art in Morocco.
