Musée Berbère — Jardin Majorelle
Amazigh heritage in the heart of the Jardin Majorelle

About this site
Housed in painter Jacques Majorelle's former studio within the Jardin Majorelle, the Berber Museum displays the private collection assembled by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent: silver jewellery from the High and Anti-Atlas, carpets, costumes, carved doors and traditional weapons. More than six thousand years of Amazigh history are brought to light, spanning the Rif, the Atlas and the Sahara, in a sober display that lets the objects speak for themselves. The visit naturally continues into the cobalt-blue alleys of the botanical garden, making this a must for any cultural tour of Guéliz.
