Villa Carl Ficke, Musée de la Mémoire de Casablanca

A Neo-Moorish villa devoted to the memory of Casablanca

About this site

Housed in an early 20th-century Neo-Moorish villa restored in keeping with its original style, the museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing Casablanca's heritage. The villa served in turn as a bourgeois residence, a detention centre under the protectorate, a children's home and an annex of a school. It hosts temporary contemporary art exhibitions and sculptures by Ikram Kabbaj in its garden.
