How to Get to the Koutoubia Mosque

From Jemaa el-Fna

From Gueliz

From central Gueliz, allow approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot along Avenue Mohammed V towards the Medina.

From Hivernage

The Koutoubia Mosque is also easily accessible from the Hivernage district, either on foot or by petit taxi.

Marrakech's petit taxis can drop you off close to the gardens.

From Gueliz or Hivernage, the journey is generally short. The fare may vary depending on your departure point, traffic and whether the meter is used.

Can You Visit Inside the Koutoubia Mosque?

Access to the interior of the Koutoubia Mosque is reserved for Muslims.
