Moroccan adornment inside the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of the Udayas

About this site

Opened on 9 January 2023 after the restoration of a building in the Kasbah of the Udayas, the museum devotes its permanent exhibition to adornment, an important element of Moroccan culture, in five monographic sections. Its collection includes personal Amazigh jewellery of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The Kasbah, Rabat's first urban nucleus, has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2012.
