Where is Bahia Palace located?
Bahia Palace is located in the heart of the Marrakech medina, in the historic Riad Zitoun El Jdid district, just a few minutes from several iconic monuments.
On foot, it is close to:

- El Badi Palace: about 7 minutes
- Saadian Tombs: about 10 minutes

How to get to Bahia Palace?
On foot
From Jemaa el-Fna square, head to Riad Zitoun El Kdim street then Riad Zitoun El Jdid. The walk takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
By taxi
Small taxis can drop you near the main entrance of the palace. From Guéliz or Hivernage, the ride usually takes 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
By car
Several public parking lots are available around the Mellah and Place des Ferblantiers. A few minutes' walk will then be needed to reach the palace.
Opening hours
The official ticket office of the Ministry of Culture gives visiting hours of 9am to 5pm. This is a general statement for all the monuments on its online ticket office: the ministry does not specify any closing day, any particular hours or any last entry for the Bahia Palace. Check before your visit, especially during Ramadan, national and religious holidays and official events.
Restoration work
Restoration work is under way in several monuments in Marrakech: some parts of the Bahia Palace may be temporarily closed to the public or rearranged. The official ticket office does not list the accessible areas: check before your visit.
Entry prices
Prices of the official ticket office of the Ministry of Culture:
- foreign adult: 100 DH (about €10);
- foreign child aged 7 to 13: 50 DH;
- Moroccan or resident adult: 30 DH;
- Moroccan or resident child aged 7 to 13: 10 DH;
- free entry for Moroccans every Friday and on the first day of national and religious holidays.

Several monuments: the skip-the-line pass
