Plage de Legzira

A wild beach with red cliffs and famous arches, between Tiznit and Sidi Ifni

About this site

Legzira is a wild beach in the rural commune of Tioughza, between Tiznit and Sidi Ifni, about 150 km south of Agadir and 10 km north of Sidi Ifni. Its scenery and waves are enjoyed by tourists, hikers and surfers, and recall lunar landscapes. In March 2014, La Nouvelle Tribune magazine ranked it among the twelve most beautiful beaches in the country. One of its emblematic arches collapsed on 23 September 2016, probably due to natural erosion; the place remains very popular, especially in summer.
